National Care Home Open Day - 21 April

We're celebrating National Care Home Open Day at our four residential care homes on Saturday 21 April 2018. This year the theme for the day is 'linking communities' and 'celebrating the Queen's birthday'. 

Why not take this opportunity to come along and join in the fun, whilst meeting our friendly staff and residents and having a tour of our home. Feel free to pop along anytime during the event. Entry and refreshments are free.

Oakwood Court care home, Haywards Heath
10am to 12 noon

  • A fun arts and crafts session, making a large 3D birthday cake.
  • Meeting children from the local Brownies and Cubs groups.
  • Enjoy some delicious cakes and refreshments.

Woodlands care home, Crowbrorough
12 noon to 3pm

  • A complimentary buffet lunch at midday.
  • A display of artefacts from the Queen’s corination and jubilee.
  • A fun arts and crafts session.
  • A visit from Crowborough 1st Guides

Ardath care home, Bexhill
10.30am to 12.30pm

  • A spring fete including stalls by Sassi Gifts (gifts for a variety of occasions), healing therapies and indian head massage and hand crafted rag dolls.
  • Raising money for Dom’s Food Mission, a charity who help to provide food for the homeless and those that would otherwise go hungry.
  • Delicious cakes and refreshments - all complimentary!

Saxonwood care home, Battle
2.30pm to 4.30pm

  • A delicious complimentary cream tea.
  • hand and nail pamper session.
  • creative arts and crafts activity.
  • A raffle will be held to raise money for Bexhill Dementia Action Alliance.
