Mobile Scheme Manager

Description:

We are looking for a Mobile Scheme Manager to be responsible for the day to day management and administration of a sheltered housing scheme and to promote the independence, security and welfare of the residents.

Main responsibilities:
• Completing and monitoring Support Plans for each resident at the scheme
• General Health & Safety within the schemes, completing relevant forms/documents in relation to Health & Safety checks, reporting any faults
• Management and performance of void properties to ensure that re-let targets are met
• Processing any repair work and monitoring progress to ensure satisfactory outcome
• Budget management

Skills/Qualifications:
• Certificate in Supported Housing (Chartered Institute of Housing) or equivalent qualification
• At least 2 years experience in a similar role in a related field
• Knowledge of Housing Benefit/Supporting People requirements and criteria
• Ability to deal with emergency situations calmly and in accordance with SHC policy
• Good computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Math & English GCSE

The post holder will be required to travel between multiple sites in East and West Sussex, therefore access to own vehicle is required.

Remuneration: Salary: £6,002 (FTE £21,008), additional hours paid at the rate £11.55 per hour Hours of work: 10 hours per week, might be required to work additional hours to provide annual leave and sick leave cover. Contract type: Permanent Base location: Battle
