Woodlands care home open morning

The residents and staff at Woodlands care home in Crowborough are warmly inviting members of the public to their not for profit home to join them for cakes, coffee, chatter and live music on Saturday 18 November from 10am to 12 noon.

All are very welcome to the free event to enjoy meeting the residents, refreshments and a guided tour around the home and gardens.

Peggy Cooke, resident at Woodlands said: “The staff here are first class, they’re kind and willing to help. They are truly some of the nicest people I’ve met. I hope people will come and have a look around on our open morning.”

Care Home Manager Lee Hares said: “Please do come along and show your support, meet our residents and come and find out what a care home is really like and help.”

Woodlands is one of four care homes, all rated ‘good’ by the Care Quality Commission, owned by Sussex Housing & Care – a not for profit Housing Association with more than 70 years of experience in providing affordable housing and care to the over 55’s in Sussex.

The care home’s address is Woodlands, Beacon Road, Crowborough TN6 1UD. For more information about Woodlands please email woodlands@sussexhousing.org.uk or visit the Woodlands webpage.
