Our sheltered housing can help you live independently, knowing you have security and peace of mind, due to our support staff and alarm services.

Each of our sheltered homes is supported by an experienced manager and a 24 hour emergency call system (Wellbeing).

With studio flats as well as one and two bedroom apartments, Sussex Housing & Care's sheltered accommodation can provide for a wide range of needs. 

Our rented sheltered housing has certain eligibility requirements as follows:

- You need to be over 60 years old.
- Have earnings and savings below a certain level
- not own property.
- You must have a local connection to the area, either have been a resident in Sussex for either 6 months out of the last 12 months, or 3 years out of the last 5 years.

or

You have a family member (mother, father, brother, sister or adult children) currently living in Sussex and have done so for at least the last two continuous years.

Devonport House, Rye

A pet friendly stuido flat on the third floor will soon become available at Devonport House which is in the centre of the historic town of Rye.

With easy access to the shops and good public transport links, this property offers a walk in shower, kitchen and studio accommodation. There is a communal lounge and laundry. Click on this link for more information about Devonport House.
