Main Responsibilities:

  • Working in designated areas as prescribed on a rotating basis and as instructed by the Home Manager or Head of Care.
  • Vacuuming and cleaning residents rooms, the corridors and all communal areas within the home to a high standard.
  • Ensuring that the furniture, fittings including furniture, fabric, and equipment are also cleaned and maintained to a high standard.
  • Being respectful of residents personal belongings and helping contribute to their upkeep / cleaning (e.g. furniture) and that any objects that are removed for cleaning are replaced in the same position.
  • Ensuring the residents are safe whilst carrying out cleaning tasks.

 

Candidate Requirements

- Ability to recognise residents' rooms and belongings are personal and private
- To demonstrate safe practice
- Good communication skills
- Maintain a polite and courteous manner towards residents, staff and visitors to the home at all times
- Awareness of health and safety and manual handling

Employment Details

  • Employment Type: Permanent
  • Hours: 30 hours per week
  • Pay: £12.00 Hourly

Additional Information

Hours of work: 30 hours per week (five shifts per week, including working alternate weekends)
