Christmas joy in our care homes

We’ve had a busy and festive time in our care homes in Crowborough, Haywards Heath and Battle this Christmas and new year. Residents, their families and our care teams, celebrated in true style. We loved welcoming the community to perform, chat with us, donate goodies and bring a big smile to everyone’s faces.

Saxonwood care home, Battle

  • Residents helped to decorate the home and make Christmas decorations.
  • Jempsons of Battle kindly gave a Christmas present to each resident.
  • Elvis performed at our residents’ Christmas Party and we welcomed the Mayor of Battle, Councillor Cook.
  • Residents and their families enjoyed Rob’s Big Christmas Quiz which is always lots of fun!
  • The staff team put on The Wizard of Oz pantomime for the residents.
  • We had a fun fill staff Christmas party with pizza delivered to the home!
  • Santa came for a visit on Christmas Day.

Woodlands care home, Crowborough

  • A Christmas carol concert with accompanied by the piano.
  • A family Christmas party with a quiz, raffle and delicious buffet for everyone.
  • A staff party with pizza.
  • Delicious 4 course Christmas dinner with families joining their loved ones.
  • Santa delivered a present to all the residents on Christmas morning.

Oakwood Court care home, Haywards Heath

  • Local primary school children came and sang with their beautiful voices, joining in with activities and chatting to our residents.
  • the local bell ringers brought their annual concert to us .
  • Haywards Heath Town Council kindly donated gifts to each resident.
  • We enjoyed a family Christmas party and a staff wellbeing activity.
  • We had a special Christmas visit from Millie, the Pet Therapy Dog.
  • We celebrated Elf day and staff and residents all dressed up! Supporting the Alzheimer’s Society to raise awareness about Alzheimer’s.
  • Staff sang and performed Christmas songs with residents.

Thank you to everyone who has made this Christmas so special. We love having a good time and making memories with our residents, their families and the local community.
