Residents of Saxonwood care home in Battle recently invited family and friends to join them for a swashbuckler of a BBQ! 

Everyone pulled out all the stops to make this an extra special event, including pirate games, a quiz and a delicious array of food and refreshements. 

Staff dressed in their most bucaneering outfits and caused mutiny throughout the gorgeous Saxonwood garden. A bounty of doubloons was rewarded to those savvy enough to complete the pirates day quiz and most importantly, everyone had fun and spent quality time together while the sun shone.
