Chef Managers get creative

Our Chef Managers spent a day in the professional kitchens at Bidfood in #slough yesterday, being creative and learning some inspirational dishes. They learnt about dementia related dietary needs and gleaned useful information about food packaging and meat accreditation.

Tony, Chef Manager at Saxonwood care home in Battle said: "We had practical sessions in the kitchen and made scotch eggs with a Christmas twist by adding some cranberries. Because we make dishes fresh ourselves in our care homes it was good to get an insight into changing and adapting menus for specific events. Any ideas are good to have and I am grateful to have this training day, you're never too old to learn!"
