We've got a variety of exciting events lined up to celebrate Dementia Action Week 2019 which runs from 20th to 26th May. The aim of the week is to unite people, workplaces, schools and communities to take action and improve the lives of people living with dementia.

Come along and meet local babies and toddlers in a fun and informal group supported by Arty Time. Reminiscence and story sharing. Refreshments provided free of charge.
Come along and enjoy some seaside themed activities. Heighten your senses and listen to the beach, enjoy ice cream, take part in seaside games. You’ll be sure to enjoy yourself and have the opportunity to socialise with staff and residents in our safe environment. Refreshments provided free of charge. This free event we are supporting has been organised by the Crowborough Dementia Forum. The event will raise awareness of Dementia and provide information across a variety of stalls of organisations to provide help and support. A Dementia Friends Session is being held between 1pm and 2pm at the venue which you are welcome to join to become a dementia friend.
