Maureen Brosnan, Senior Care Assistant at Oakwood Court has won the first ACE award for the home and was presented with her certificate and bouquet on Monday to celebrate her achievement, followed by a round of applause from colleagues and residents.
The ACE award is an internal award for 'Achieving Customer Excellence'. It's awarded every three months to our employees who have gone the extra mile and have delivered an excellent service.
Maureen said: "I was really surprised to have the award and felt honoured. It's nice to know that my colleagues think I do a good job. I nominated people too, and to win it was such a surprise. We pull together as a team here and it's made me chuffed to bits and very proud to go home and show my family."
Maureen received nominations from her colleagues who said:
"Maureen does lots of extra activities with the residents in her own time and this should be recognised."
"Maureen does everything to help and always goes the extra mile. She is a great influence to other staff."
"Maureen is a very helpful lady."
Congratulations to Maureen and thank you for your hard work and dedication.
