Roxi celebrates at care awards final
Roxi, Deputy Manager at Saxonwood care home in Battle celebrated at the national final of the Great British Care Awards in Birmingham last Friday.
The awards are one of the largest in the care industry and saw winners from regions across England, come together to honour their achievements. Roxi wowed judges during the regional finals for the ‘Front Line Leaders’ award with her knowledge, leadership and commitment to care, which gained her a place at the national final.
Although Roxi didn’t win the final, she celebrated her success and we are proud of everything she has achieved since first being nominated.
A delighted Roxi said: “I had a brilliant experience as I had the opportunity to meet amazing people and learn from their achievements. I felt very proud when they were talking about my nomination, and for having our company name displayed there on the big screen in front of a large audience. It’s been a very motivating, exciting and enjoyable experience.”
