Staff at Woodlands in Crowborough are celebrating receiving a ‘good’ report following a visit from inspectors.
The Sussex Housing & Care home was rated ‘good’ across all five key areas in the latest Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspection report.
The inspectors received feedback from residents and their families, which included comments that ‘the staff are very caring’ and ‘I can’t fault the staff, it’s a pleasure to come here’. They noted that the service was exceptionally well led and exceptionally responsive, people were supported to be independent where possible and that people had choice over their care and support and were treated with dignity and respect.
Woodlands Care Home Manager, Lee, said: "We are delighted to receive a good rating from the CQC, I am proud of my team’s hard work and dedication and the excellent care they provide for residents.”
Chief Executive, Tracy Evans, said: “We are proud of our staff and the service we offer to our residents. The positive feedback we receive from residents and their families as well as professionals reflects the consistent hard work of our staff and their desire to provide the best possible care.”
