2020 can go on the naughty list. Friday 4 December is Elf Day and this week staff and residents will be dressing up, popping on our elf hats and ears, playing games, making ‘elf selfies’, spreading mischief and festive cheer. It’s all in aid of raising money to help support people affected by dementia with the Alzheimer’s Society.
This year, we’ll be taking Elf Day online and staff will be able to log in live to our care homes, to join in the quizzes and elf-inspire catch-ups with our wonderful residents and staff with Saxonwood in Battle, Woodlands in Crowborough and Oakwood Court in Haywards Heath. (Ardath, Bexhill will be running their events on Tuesday 1 December.)
Help the Alzheimer’s Society continue to be there for people living with dementia and their families. Go about your normal day dressed as an elf, post #elfselfies on social media, and spread some cheeky cheer.
